I am sorry that I haven't posted much, there isn't much to write about. I have been battling a terrible depression and without health insurance. Within the past week and a half I have also dealt with a stomach virus and upper respiratory infection. I hate my job. The only good thing is that due to my illnesses, I haven't been at the job that much. Downside is, I'll probably be fired for that. Upside is, my old employer hired me on part time, working from home. This will turn full time and I am waiting on confirmation on that. Maybe I can put my notice in before I'm fired. I've never been fired, ever. Yet I just don't care. I'm trying to keep my head above water.

damn, grace - I'm sorry. I guess we take the good with the bad. Glad to hear you're still here, but sorry you're going through so much. Ditto for me. Things are just in transition for some of us right now I think.
Good luck with the telecommuting - hope your old job will let you do that full time!!!

I ended up writing two whole postings about 'fitting in' the other day. It can be a very unsettling feeling when we feel we don't.

I'll be interested to see how you felt about the gathering. Well done you for going even when you're unsure.

love and hugs xxx

Are you able to find help with a therapist on a sliding scale or something in your area or local Mental Health Dept? I hope you are getting some help, Grace. :( If you need help navigating the waters of getting help, let me know. I'm an advocate.

Thank you to everyone- not just those who have posted here- for your support and kindness. I really appreciate it.

Kitten- I have found a sliding scale place and have been visiting a lcsw there for the past month. Unfortunately, my sliding scale is 80% but it is better than nothing for sure. Tough times financially.

Thank you though.
